My name is Ashley Ambrose and I have been dedicated and involved in the pet care field for over 10 years. I am proud to offer insured house call grooming and grooming in a veterinary practice setting.
My Story
It began with my love for animals and animal behavior at a young age. I began dog walking and overnight stays for pet care purposes at a young age. It was never an issue for me to perform grooming basics at home such as bathing, cleaning ears or trimming nails.
I began working as a bather the end of 2015. By may 2016, I had finished my apprenticeship for becoming a dog groomer. I groomed under a corporate company for 2 years. I then went to work for a 24 hour emergency veterinary clinic and was there as a veterinary assistant and dog groomer for two years. I currently work in a general practice veterinary clinic located in Simsbury CT as a veterinary assistant and as their dog groomer.
Back in 2018 I began doing house call grooming; a service which is specifically one on one grooming quite literally in the persons home.
In the free time I have I enjoy spending time with my family, my beagle mix Mack, traveling, car related things and being outdoors.
